Hello!

I’m Halle (rhymes with Sally), a Cincinnati-born, Milwaukee-based artist and illustrator. In childhood, I found my love for art through realism, colored pencil, and oil painting. I’m a student at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and am expected to graduate in 2025 with a BFA in illustration.

Drawing anything related to the human figure and the human experience is my favorite. Compositional flow, capturing likeness, texture, and color are all elements that are important to me in my work. I’m especially inspired by music, and I enjoy finding beauty in the little things.

Outside of illustration, I love to play video games, learn anything and everything about music, tend to my ever-growing vinyl collection, play my guitar (with what is probably terrible technique), and spend time with my family.
